Off Balance Q

It’s always a beautiful (and humid) morning to do something stoopid at GI.  Trailer Park Q’d GI’s 4:50 run club.  Party of two (TP & YHC).  YHC had the Q for the main thing.

Warm Up

Green Acres let everyone know that he would not be in attendance because “he had corn on his mind”.  Since GA wasn’t going to post, YHC left Roxanne at the house.  Boo Boo was extremely disappointed that Roxanne didn’t join.  Who knew Roxanne was such a crowd pleaser?

The Main Thang

The Pax headed over to the swing set.  YHC had read somewhere once upon a time that when your body is off balance, it does not know the exact output needed to perform an exercise causing your muscles to work harder.  True?  Who knows, but the Pax put the theory to the test with a couple of AMRAPs.


2 Rounds of AMRAP


Round 1 (10 Minutes)

5 Inverted Rows with the swing chains

10 Derkins with feet in swing

15 Knee tucks with feet in swing

20 Side Straddle Hops


Round 2 (10 Minutes)

5 Pull-ups

T-Claps to Boo Boo for volunteering to install water stations around GI.  True HIM


After the Main Thing was completed, the PAX mosied back to the CoT.

Like many others, the recent events in Afghanistan have been weighing on YHC’s heart.  Came across a prayer for Afghanistan and shared it with the PAX. Great read: Pray For Afghanistan
