TUT Climbing the Mountain

 

It was a beautiful morning to do something stoopid.  YHC rolled into GI behind Schaeffer at 5:29 (You know Citadel men have to be early) to see a large crowd awaiting.

Warm Up

Green Acres had requested a little Roxanne the night before so YHC couldn’t disappoint.  Started the warmup with 20 side straddle hops followed by Roxanne Burpees (Played The Police – Roxanne and did a burpee every time the word “Roxanne” was sung).

By this point, everyone seemed warmed up so we headed over to the block pile.

The Main Thang

A mixture of TUT (Time Under Tension) and Mountain Climbers.

Everyone grabbed their blocks and circled up with YHC in the middle.

For the TUT, YHC picked the exercise to perform in cadence (1-2-3 on the up & 1-2-3 on the down).

There was a lot of mumble chatter and crop dusting during the Main Thang.  YHC was surprised to hear the PAX’s excitement over Mountain Climbers (will have to add more of those to YHC’s Qs in the future).  Evel Knievel obviously felt cheated from YHC’s Q since he held his block overhead between exercises making El Jefe extremely proud of his 2.0.

 

After the Main Thing was completed, the PAX did a jailbreak back to the CoT.
